Terms of use.
Last updated: 2026-06-11. Plain rules for a free tool: use it lawfully, own your submissions, accept that results carry no guarantees.
The service
humanizeai.ca provides a free text humanizer and AI detector, in English and French, with usage limits stated on the site. The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We may change limits, features or availability; when we do, the relevant pages will say so.
Acceptable use
You agree to submit only text you have the right to use, and to use the service in compliance with the laws and the institutional rules that apply to you. Academic integrity policies, employer policies and professional obligations remain yours to know and follow; the tools do not alter what those rules permit. Automated scraping of the site, attempts to circumvent rate limits, and use of the service to produce unlawful content are prohibited.
No guarantees about detection
We state this in marketing and we state it here with legal effect: we make no representation that any text processed by the humanizer will pass, or that any score from the detector predicts the behaviour of, any third-party AI detection system. Detector scores on this site are statistical estimates with an explicit inconclusive band and must not be treated as proof of authorship or conduct.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the use of this free service is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including academic, employment or business consequences of how you use processed text.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Questions about these terms: hello@humanizeai.ca.
