Privacy policy.
Last updated: 2026-06-11. The short version: your texts are processed in memory, never stored, never used for training. The long version below says the same thing with details.
What we process and why
When you use the humanizer or the detector, the text you paste is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our processing infrastructure, transformed or scored, and returned to your browser. The text is held in memory for the duration of the request and discarded when the response is sent. We do not store your texts, we do not build profiles from them, and we do not use them to train any model.
Technical data
Like every website, our infrastructure processes technical request data: IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp. We use a privacy-preserving hash of network information for anonymous rate limiting, which is how the free tier enforces its daily cap without accounts. Standard infrastructure logs are retained briefly for security and abuse prevention and contain no pasted text content.
Cookies and tracking
The site sets no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics cookies. Storage in your own browser is used for two features: carrying a text from the detector to the humanizer when you click the fix link, and remembering your light or dark theme choice. Both stay on your device.
Your rights
This service operates from Canada and respects the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for Quebec residents, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25). Because we do not store your texts or maintain accounts, most access and deletion requests have a short answer: there is nothing retained to access or delete. For any privacy question or complaint, contact hello@humanizeai.ca and we will respond within 30 days. Operator identity and mailing address are available on request through the same address.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes will be noted plainly rather than buried. The commitment that texts are never stored or trained on is not a clause we intend to weaken.
